New Guy

Hi. I am a new member. I have designed and built a band sawmill and made many changes since then. I have no pic yet as it is now. Also I am rebuilding a Meadows. Cut my first log and it, worked great. Still got a lot of work to do yet tho. I enjoy advice from the old timers and welcome any new information from folks that know more than I do. Looking foward to hearing from you guys and exchanging info.

Billy - yep you responded right. With your new mill and all I'm sure you'll be slicing up lumber like there's no tommorow. I like to keep a log or two laying around, milling is very relaxing for me - you know logs don't talk back, do they? After a stressful day, theres nothing like firing up the chainsaw and taking a few whacks out of a log. Started as a way to supply my woodworking hobby, but seems I'm cutting more and more as time goes on and I learn whats good and bad.
