Now, I have never - ever - been on craig's list (www.craigslist.com). Honestly, in all these years of the internet, I've never gone out there to see what CL was all about. Until last night...
I go out there and snoop around looking for tools. I search all the different areas of NC. There's some decent stuff out there, but nothing that pops out at me.
So today at work, I take a quick minute and check the list. This time I check Willmington. Not 60 mins earlier, a gentleman in Willmington posted a sale for a ton of Grizzly equipment. Looking at the price, I called immediately. I was probably the 6th person to call him in 1 hour!
He told me that he would be home at a certain time, and that I should meet him there since it's first come/first serve. It's a 90 min drive. I arrived first, then 3 more folks show up. Funny thing is - we all wanted different things! So there were no best-of-three wrestling matches in the front yard.
Anyway - here are the particulars:
Grizzly 6" x 47" Jointer (G1182HW). Well taken care of with minimum rust (been in storage for a while). One of the other buyers told me that he owned all Grizzly and couldn't recommend them highly enough. $175.
