I have taken my son to the last (2). They have them twice a month and they are free. The projects are very simple and come pre-drilled to accept the nails. Josh has a blast! The best part is they are FREE! ...ok so no one ever goes into Lowes and doesn't buy something, but at least the project is free. They give the kids aprons and patches for each project made.

Phil, he looks very proud of his work as well he should be.:icon_thum I've been meaning to take my daughter to one of those and haven't done it yet cause I wasn't sure if what they supplied for the projects was garbage or not. It looks like that's far from the case so I'll have to see if I can't take her to one cause I'm sure she'd really like it.

That is awesome. My Josh is turning 2 this week, so hopefully in about another year I can take him to one of those. He already loves to hang out in the shop with Daddy..
