A little bowl turning competion between a foot powered lathe and an electric motored powered lathe. Very interesting watching. I don't have any speakers right now so I have no idea what the sound track is like.

I second that. The foot powered is a better bowl. He removed more wood in the same time. Cool find Dave.

Great competition. Of course, as fun as it is to make this a neander-vs-powertool competition, the guy on the left is probably just the better turner.

Just goes to show even with all the modern gadgets sometime old school is just better. Plus you notice how the foot powered guy was in much better shape then the electric guy (younger "looking" too) :lol:
