How to figure (spm) on my bandsaw? Help

I am trying to figure out how to figure out SPM (surface speed per minute). I think I need the rpm of the pully shaft (583) and the diameter of the bandsaw wheel (14"). I want to change pulleys to lower the rpm way down for cutting metal.
