Got to meet Toolferone today

I got to meet Tom (tooferone) today.
He was good enough to show me the err of my ways in setting up a hand plane.
He also taught me quite a a bit about how to properly sharpen.
I had a good and productive day...big change from last night.

Yep, Tom is a great guy!:eusa_clap He helped me immensely with purchasing the right equipment and setting up my shop. No matter how many dumb questions I asked, he always cheerfully and honestly answered.
They don't come any better in my book!:icon_thum UNLESS he's wearing his kilt!!!!!!!!

His shop makes me really wish I could start building a real shop in my back yard today.
You can actually have a project sitting around and not trip over it while doing other work.
But I will have to make do with the garage for now.
And I love the dust collection. He has everything hooked up but no hoses to get in the way...very nice.

Gotta agree. He did a class for me and two others and loved every minute of it. Learned alot!

He did have these new, state of the art, honing tanks...
From a new woodworking company called Domino's Pizza...
