Google SketchUP drawing,,my first.

Well I had some time on my hands over here and my wife said she wanted me to make a medium sized hutch when I get back. She wanted it black with two doors and a wine rack in the center. She said she wanted BirdsEye maple on the top (guess im rubbing off on her she staring to know diff woods) The program only had cherry so i used that for visual effect. Google SketchUp is a pretty good program, I have not used anything else so I cant compare it. But i was able to produce this in about an hour after the tutorial. Be blessed all

I like that design. Apparently I need to look at google more if they have applications like that.

In my opinion, when your wife starts asking for certain types of wood, you have reached the promised land.

Michael, those renderings look nice. Since you only spent an hour playing with the software either it's pretty user friendly or you're pretty smart or both! :eusa_thin

CPowell,,dont give me much that much credit, once you do the tutorial its quite easy. And i have to tell you that the design is not totaly mine. My wife sketched an idea of a couple things that she has seen and I put it all togeather (she would prob make a better designer than i would it would seem.

The hardest part of my four deployments is being from my family, my friends, my church, and my shop. But i look forward to getting back. It actually good to pull yourself from the situation sometimes so that you can re-think the whole operation.
