Any chance we could get another "Home" button at the bottom of the page? A nice big blue one identical to the one at the top?

When I have scrolled down the pages reading posts, I have to scroll back up every time to get back to the "Home" page button. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to be able to go back there from the bottom of the page.

The "back" arrow will not take me back to "Home", only the last post.

Just a thought. I suspect this is more of a bother to us laptop users than those with large screens.

Thanks for listening.

Reggie, good suggestion :icon_thum Do you use the floating side navigation menu??? If so it has a Home selection at the top of it and it should always stay at the side of your screen so you won't have to scroll for it.

Reggie, I know on my laptop, the "home" button on the keyboard will shoot me right back to the top of the current web page where you can access any of the top buttons on the page. :wsmile:

Glenn, you are right, but it's the "current" page and not the "Home" page, so that's still two clicks or moves. Gettin fussy, ain't I?

I will not comment on your "fussiness" :rotflm: But I will say that Dave's suggestion would seem to accomplish your goal :wsmile:

Dave, I think I "hid" it sometime back and I can't remember how to bring it back. If you could remind me, I'll give it another try. I think the reason I hid it was that I was inadvertantly "going" places I didn't mean to go by dragging my mouse across it. But, I'll give it another shot if that's the option. Thanks.

Reggie go to your User Settings (upper brown menu far left side) and then to User Options and you can select to use the side floating menu. It will fly out if you accidentally drag your curser across it, but won't actually do anything unless you click on a selection.
I use it all the time. I also right click on the back button and choose the page I want to jump back to (using IE)
HTH,
Dave:)

Reggie, Glad I could help, hope you are ok with the brown one though.

Dave, I did not mean to step on your toes. I did not see that you had assigned it to yourself.

I think Reggie assigned it to Dave. There seems to be a bug, only staff members should have been able to assign the field. I have already made the bug report on our internal to do list.
