Drawer inside bathroom vanity...

LOML and I were talking last night and she would like additional storage inside her bathroom vanity. Something that slides out would be ideal.

Do you have something like this in your bathroom? If so, how did you do it?

I did it in some of the lower cabinets in our kitchen. basically they are baltic birch boxes with slides. the boxes are 1" smaller than the opening to allow for the slides. I dont have pics handy but can get them if you need them. these are great under the sink. we can find stuff much faster.

That would be great Fred. There is a lot of wasted space under the sink/upper drawers.

depending on your plumbing configuration it may be nessasary to notch the rear panel of the drawer. when I did mine I knew I was going to do this so I plumbed accordingly:icon_thum you can even make the drawers with dividers. here ya go.

The top drawer has a cutout to allow for the sink drain . I can forward more pics if you need them .

I'm sure you could fabricate something similar for the vanity.

I used 1/2" baltic birch plywood but you could use any stable wood.
the slides are those cheap ones the BORG carries. they are blum but lightweight.
