Definition of thread actions

Could someone please define the effect of the different action choices found in the drop down box at the bottom of the page (e.g. approve attachments/unapprove attachments, approve/unapprove post).

I am gonna asume that you know what the merge. move, and delete functions are used for. Approve and Unapprove post move the post to moderation or back and the same for attachments. Is that any help?

Although after a quick double check of what I justsaid. You really don't need to use the Approve function in the drop down menu. The Quick Moderation box on the left is the easiest way the approve a post or thread once it has been sent to moderation. I clicked the little box in the top right of your post (thread) and then Unapproved it. In the Quick Moderation box it showed up as one thread awaiting moderation. That's where we can view the post/thread and determine the best course of action. That is where it can be validated or deleted. Clear as mud??
