I have added a prefix for the For Sale/Wanted and Wood for Sale forums where you can easily mark an item as SOLD. When you edit the item, you can select the SOLD prefix as shown:

Select the dropdown selector and click Edit thread.

Click the (No prefix) link and select SOLD:

Click Save:

Other prefixes are available to other forum nodes, check them out. Using these may help others in their searches for solutions

I've edited a few posts with some of the available prefixes.

If anyone has suggestions, please send them over to me. These can be applied to any of the forum nodes that you can see.

Since there are so many for sale items & sometimes almost whole pages of “sold” it would seem that encouraging delete rather than sold would clean up the list some. On my ipad the for sale is 88 pages long. Not inclined to do that much scrolling.

actually now seeing some of them, I actually don't like the prefixes on non-for sale threads. Actually makes it harder to quickly scan headlines.

Great idea! But I can see it might be a problem on a smaller screen. I'm always on my laptop (not phone). Is there a way to remove them when on a smaller screen size (i.e., have them be a responsive feature)? If you need another, maybe "Where do I".

We can add the prefixes, but it is ultimately up to the OP of the post to edit the thread title to add/change a prefix. It's a simple task.

Thanks Neal! Always appreciate the hard work you do mainatining the site.

QQ Is there any way to drop the priority of a post if a certain prefix has been added to it?
