Couple of Christmas Presents for my daughter

My daughter mentioned a few weeks ago about wanting a cutting board and here's what I came up with. One is cherry with maple accent the other is maple with cherry accent rubbed down with mineral oil. The second one did not turn out with as much contrast as I thought it might but good enough. I was pushing the clock a bit on these but they are ready to put under the tree.

Looks good, just make sure that they know they are to be used. I hate to hear that "this is so pretty we don't want to use it".

Just remember to tell the recipients to keep them outa the dish washer and treat them with mineral oil every now and again. They will last for many years, I am sure.
