I see Christmas projects are starting to pop up.
I'm starting this thread to see if people have ideas for Christmas gifts - not trying to limit people but let's say gifts that could be made in multiples and don't require large material outlays and don't require highly specialized equipment.
My contribution:
Bent-wood salad servers. These are walnut treated with mineral oil (sorry for the poor pix - bowl is ~10" dia for scale)
All you need is a bandsaw, clamps, packing tape, glue, some scrap 2x4s and finishing supplies. And of course your stock - walnut in my pix. Zebrawood looks sharp too !
