I recently picked up a set of chisels from a guy named Chris Black. He is in the Wake Forrest area and is selling some tools on craigslist out of his minivan.
He also sharpens tools/saws etc and looks to be trying to make a living at it.
At any rate he had a fine selection of chisels and an even larger selection of handsaws.
He was great to talk too and very knowledgable about hand tools. I encouraged him to join NCWW.
And here is my gloat:
I bought a set of 5 Sorby boxwood bench chisels from him and a set of crown skew chisels (left and right).

The lands are a little big for dovetails but they are very sturdy and were all properly sharpened and with dead flat backs.

Total damage 60$.
I hope Chris joins NCWW!
