Brown headlights and tablesaw tops

What do these two have in common?. Both can be cleaned with Mother's Mag Wheel Polish. A few months back there was a posting on another site about using Mother's Mag Wheel Polish on saw tops. I tried it and was impressed with how easy it is to slide wood over saw top. Well, my wife's Ford Areostar van has those plastic headlight assemblies. They were a grungie brown. When driving at night, it was like the alternator wasn't producing full voltage. I decided to try some Mother's on them. Boy what a difference. It is almost like changing a 40 watt bulb to a 100 watt bulb. Hard to belive that the lens were that dirty from oxidation. For some reason, Ford and Chrysler products seem to more affected by browning of the lense assembly, but Chevy pick ups also suffer same problem. I know there are special plastic polishes that are available for head light assemeblies. Mother's Mag Wheel Polish is available from Advance or Autozone. A jar is about $5.00 and will last a lifetime.
