Knowing how well this crew loves to eat :rotflm: let me throw out this idea. For those planning to get to the Raleigh Klingspor Show early on Saturday how about meeting at the I-HOP on Captial Blvd? It is just across the parking lot from Klingspor. Of course wives, husbands, kids, and all comers are welcome. Say 8:15????

I am a maybe; one of my boys asked me about going fishing (the one in the picture, next to the old fat guy, in the Fishing thread of a few days ago) and for some reason he wants to go up to Falls. I may try to do that early Saturday depending on weather.

I am now a more definite maybe. I will probably have kids with me (almost certainly).

Scott, I love the idea, but breakfast at 8:15...that means getting up at what, 7? Sorry bro, I stayed away from the "early riser" thread because I detest having to get up early, especially on the weekend.

Not a morning person you might say? I LOATHE mornings. The only reason we have mornings in the first place is to make sure night and afternoon don't bump into each other.

But, I wish everyone lots of fun, good eatin', and hope to see you at Klingspor at a more civilized hour :)

My triplets are almost 8 now, so I get more opportunities to sleep in, but I seem to have forgotten how. :dontknow: :rolleyes:

The weather report looks pretty good (going fishing with kids, but can make IHOP stop on the way) so barring any unforeseen problems, I will be there!

Bas,

I don't know if it happens in Cary, but where I live the nights and the afternoons do bump into each other, just a little later on in the day.

Jimmy:)

We only allow that on overcast days when afternoon and night are the same color. :wrolleyes:

I often say I live in the Cary/Apex area instead of just saying Cary because of the (somewhat valid) preconceptions about Cary. I am down where Cary, Apex and Holly Springs confront each other in territory currently behind Cary's front lines.

Nope. You see, there are EVENINGS between afternoons and nights to prevent the bumpitude. Evening is a very important part of the day!

Dude. That's like Fuquay North! And are you implying people in Cary are stuck-up and snobby? 'Cuz you're absolutely right! :eusa_snoo:eusa_snoo:eusa_snoo

I wouldn't say that they're stuck up, just that they're from New Jersey, I'm from Jersey and living in Johnston County to get away from them.:rotflm:.

Jimmy:)

ps. the only real Cary resident that I've met is Robert (sawduster), and he lives far from there now:lol:.

Hey! I resemble that remark! :eusa_naug It is not that we're stuck up and snobby, it is just that we feel out of place in most converstaions because we can't stretch a one syllable word into three! :gar-La;

Are you kidding ? I can't afford to live in the great state of Cary :gar-La;
Cary is not the same town I grew up in :no: Heck, they're only 2 laws short of being their own country :eek:

I'm chuckling imagining Bas saying " hey y'all watch this " :rotflm:
