Some of you may remember Alex posting about his own iron sometime back. myself and others inquired and Alex took the ball and ran with it , creating a group work site , accepting the help of others for design and execution ( we had quite a few folks ) and really working hard to facilitate irons for the entire group of us :icon_thum
It was quite a process and enjoyable to watch on the group site as each iron was designed, tweaked and finally submitted
NOw not only do I have an iron for much less than $200 , it is also made from my own signature , written initially in Paint Shop Pro and then eventually rendered into a small piece of stainless steel
I turned the handle and cobbled together a shaft and such ( Thanx FredP for the tapping :icon_thum ) and here is the finished product :mrgreen:
I'm as happy as a hawg in a mudhole !! :banana:
