Finally, I got around to finishing up a project begun two months ago.

Just a simple vase of spalted White Oak and a Jatoba collar.

Now I need your help. I'm an idiot in trying to adjust resolution for the contest. Can anyone help in resizing this to the correct size for the competition? Hopefully I'm a better turner than computer user. If not, maybe I need to think about selling my tools.

Thanks,
Jim

That picture is 800 x 600 pixels, it needs to be at least 2300 x 1650. Scaling it up to that size will enlarge the pixels and make it look bad, not suitable for printing in the calendar.

You need to have the picture made on a higher resolution camera. At least 4 MP.

Thanks Mike,

Perhaps I can get my son to rephoto it and load it into my computer for an attempt tomorrow.

I hope so, it's a very fine looking vase. You might consider taking the picture with a less busy background, that helps to focus on the item being shown.

Dave:)
