Problems using alcohol based Transtint dyes

I've dissolved the dye in denatured alcohol and both sprayed and wiped it, but I'm getting a lot of "spotting" and streaking from what looks like the solvent evaporating too quickly. The problem is that I'm having a heck of a time getting rid of these and getting the color on four different...
