no Rest For the weary

Not even totally done with the Gazebo, and now the LOML has me designing and spec'ing out a deck extension. I knew that i should never have shown her what i could do.:BangHead: :BangHead: :roll:

tool rest base

I have a Delta 46-111 lathe and I want to quick release tool rest base for it. Mine has to be tightened and loosened with a wrench and the nut and wrench get in the way when turning bowls. I ordered the 46-707 tool rest base from Delta but it was much too large for the lathe. Any suggestions?

tool rest

I took a beginner's turning class from Alan Leland a while ago (I was terrible). One of the things that drove me crazy during the class and got me wondering was the tool rest. We were turning a spindle (the ever popular, bead, cove and flat) and I felt Tthat I was spending most of my time...
