Such a thing as a quiet(er) air compressor?

I'm in the market for a pancake (or smaller) air compressor. I recently sold my 26gal unit because I was sick of waiting on it to fill up, and really sick of the sound. Obnoxious boogers they are. I'm leaning towards the Porter Cable 6gal pancake with 4 guns at Home Depot for about $300...
