Raleigh area: cabinet door euro hinge difficulties

Hi All, I have a cabinet door that has two sets of euro hinge indentations. Unfortunately, one set of holes match the location of a shelf. I need to drill/make/fashion a new set of holes. In the North Raleigh area, is someone versed in euro-hinge holes? Any advice/assistance is...

Hinge Mortising Jig

If anyone can find a hidden knot when chiseling hinge mortises, that would be me. Thanks to D L for finding his copy of this plan from Shop Notes before I could find my own. I ordered an extra depth gage from RotoZip and glued a 4x4 piece of p-glass to it as a cheap substitute for a new trim...

Hinge mortise jig

Anyone have a copy of Woodworker's Journal Vol 25, Issue 5 that I could get the jig plan from? Checked on-line and they show SOLD-OUT! Has anyone used a commercial jig that they would recommend? Thanks, Joe

Glue for Barrel Hinge

First time putting barrel hinges on small box. Certainly seems like you need to add epoxy or something so it won't fall out and I figure Tite Bond won't work on metal. It's the 5mm hinge that doesn't have a set screw for tightening as some of the larger ones do. Sure, I could find something to...
