This is a walnut and brass hinged display case. It contains pin routed flocked recesses designed for each individual medal, photo, and dog tags. The case is displayed on a walnut podium with through mortise and tenon joinery. It was made to honor my Dad on his 90th birthday April 19, 2010 for his service in WWII as a chaplain's assistant and 30+ years following as a pastor. In memory of Rev. James Stuart Hepler, Sr. 1920 - 2010. This is my first woodworking project.
