It's been a while since I've posted anything! After many years of use, it was time to refurbish my x-y drill press table. Over the years I've been tempted to upgrade to the more traditional tables made with aluminum tracks and commercial, hold-downs, but I didn't want to give up the table's x-y adjustment feature.
The original table was made to allow using low cost Harbor Freight 9'' drill press locking clamps.
I also use welder style Vice Grip pliers for hold-down clamps.
This is the third upgrade to the original table! The fence height was raised and a T-slot added for stop blocks and fence hold-downs.
