This is unlikely here but given this is a local / regional group then its worth a shot.
I am looking to buy a used shaper with the following specs/features.
-1 1/4” spindle with minimal to no measurable runout and ideally OEM spindle removal wrench and top nut included
-7.5 hp +
-Sliding table - could be front table slider or end table / tenoning style
-Multiple speeds with lowest option near 3k rpm
-Reversing spindle operation
-Spindle brake
-Split / micro adjustable fence (common on Euro shapers)
-3 phase, 230v preferred
-Prefer a slightly older Euro machine without too circuit board controlled electronics and definitely a manual spindle raise and lower / handwheel option.
Might also consider a fixed table machine with tilting spindle or fixed table fixed spindle if all other specs are met...depending.
I’m near Boone and have found and almost gotten several machines lately but just hasn’t panned out yet or they’ve been too far away. Willing to travel anywhere within a day’s drive of Boone.
