Wood Movement Question

I am building a small side table and am making the top out of a 6" square of quilted maple (ooooohh, I love that stuff!) I framed the maple with 1" bubinga all the way around...am I asking for trouble with wood movement breaking my frame? I don't really get the whole movement thing...need to read up on it more, but would appreciate your thoughts so I can set my expectations for failure..haha!

At 6" width you shouldn't have to worry about movement much. This calculator will tell you the change in size that you might experience - Shinkulator
