Wine Holder how to...

I started with a 3/4x3" oak board. Length is over 12" (not important yet).



Find the center...


Size the neck of the bottle. (Does not have to be exact. It just has to be able to move in and out as the bottle empties).


Drill hole and test fit...


Start by cutting at 45 degrees (more than likely, you will have to adjust, thus the overall length isn't that important).


As you can see with the gap on the table, 45 degrees didn't work. Time to adjust...


Balance the bottle and use scrap to mark the "level" mark. Make the cut. If it doesn't work, repeat. (Again, have the length long enough to keep trimming.)
