Wife suggested removing the toilet tank before painting the powder room lower wall today. I do the cutting in and she rolls. Sans tank made the job easier for both of us.

This was especially true for radiators; two hoses, four bolts, and maybe two tranny cooler oil lines and the radiator was out of the way and safe from being damaged by an errant wrench. For example, changing a water pump is really simple without a radiator in the way.
