Must people consider the 14" the real starting place for good band saws. This is where the manufacturers start putting in th good features and power.

That being said I have a good deal on this Delta 14" band saw if you are interested.

I suggest you jump all over Tom's offer on the 14" Delta BS. Very good deal at $300.

Out of the two posted I would go with the Rigid (I am assuming it's the 3/4 hp 14" model, you link isn't very specific :lol: ) over the Sears (have issues with Craftsman)
But your best deal is going to be Tom's BS, I am sure it's well tuned and you can beat bying from a friend. If that fails check out Grizzly's selections, they are good value bandsaws.

I really like my Wood Mizer band saw, does a good job on those long boards and has plenty of power with the 28 HP engine
