What's the difference??

Can someone please tell me if there is any
difference in the Grizzly Band Saw Model G0580
and the Delta Model 28-279 from Lowe's?

Both are 14" band saws and look as if they are
made by the same company. I know the Delta
has a quick blade release, does the Grizzly?
Any advantages of one over the other? :icon_scra

Both would be the same price except I can go to
Lowe's and get the Delta.

The lower blade guides on the Delta are MUCH closer to the bottom of the table and are easier to adjust. Delt is the only company who mounts the guides up so high. This is a good thing.

Thank you for that information. Is there anything
else I should be looking for in a good band saw?

I've been looking at the Rigid saw and I don't think
it has the quick blade release that I think is important.

I need to stick to the 14" saws as my shop is very
small and every inch of space is valuable. That said,
I do need the clearance of the 14" saw. I would like
it if my projects would allow a smaller clearance.
