Does anyone know which oil is used as the base for Watco's Teak Oil product? And how does this product differ from their other Danish oil products?

According to the MSDS sheet, it's raw linseed oil. The full list is:

VM&P Naptha, Mineral spirits, aromatic petroleum distillates, raw linseed oil, proprietary resins and zinc borate.

How it compares with other Danish Oil finishes, I can't say.

I have used the Watco Danish Oil on cherry and was pleased with the results.

Watco is primarily linseed oil technically called an "oil/varnish mixture". It contains some driers so the net effect is the same as boiled linseed oil. "Danish Oil" is just a marketing name and each formulator has their own slighly different formula.

You can make your own oil/varnish by mixing equal parts of your favorite varnish or poly varnish, boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits. It will be a better, more durable and protective finish than Watco which is primarily thinners that evaporate and add nothing to the performance of the finish.
