Wax on top of Osmo?

I just finished a nice little 'desk top dresser' and used wood wax oil for the first time - Osmo Wood Wax, Extra Thin. Now, I understand the allure of wood wax finishes! Easy to apply and beautiful to look at.

But is that all I need? I have almost always waxed my finishes: applied w 0000 steel wool on shellac or w white 3M Scotchbrite on other film finishes. So, I am wondering if this Osmo finish is all I need.

FYI - the shell is hickory and drawers are hickory and walnut.

Osmo has wax in the finish. I usually use Howards feed n wax as a conditioner if the finish looks dry or dull.

I think any good wax would be fine for a top coat.
