I’ve been working on a coffee table for a frien. I’ve made several pieces for him before and we collaborated on design. I made a dining table and sofa back table/bookcase in black walnut. one feature is a cubbyhole on one side to store magazines and remote controls to unclutter the top. It’s just a spa ce like a drawer pocket without a drawer so that you can reach in. It’s hidden by the overhang of the tabletop.
Finish is shellac seal under polyurethane wiped on.
