value of mahogany door (updated with pictures)

I recently was given an antique solid mahogany entry door (pictures forthcoming). The door is in excellent shape, is HEAVY, with hand carved simple rosettes. It's in great shape and has been refinished.

I really have no clue what something like this might be worth. I'm not sure that I am really interested in selling it; I think it would be awesome for when we build our dream shop, ahem, I mean house.

In any event, can anyone provide advice about the value of such a piece?

It may be helpful to know the size, how much carving (2 rosettes or 20 would make a big difference), any lights (window openings), is there a complete set of matching antique hardware, Is it constructed extremely well? All of that matters in the price. It could be anywhere from $500 to $5000.

Here is a picture of the door. It measures 36" x 80" x 1 3/4". It has 24 rosettes on each side, for a total of 48 rosettes. None of the original hardware is with the door. The door is in excellent shape with a good finish on it.
