Upper cabinets measurements

I am progressing in the redoing of my shop/garage. The counter is in and now need some upper cabinets for over the counter but I don't want the full size cabinets. I would like to get the ones that would fit above the microwave or the frig. They are shorter cabinets. I would like to install some on the wall above the counter, but need some dimensions so I can lay out what I might need. I am thinking about installing a double door cabinet and then a small shelf and then another double door cabinet and so on. I may replace the shelf or add a piece of pegboard above the shelf to hang my crosscut saw and trim saws as well as other small hang up pieces.
Here is quick pic of what I am referring to. I have the counter and then a shelf above that and want to add the short cabinets over that.

I'm assuming that you want to buy pre-fab shop cabinets without breaking the bank?

Maybe a starter. All of the Hampton Bay upper cabinets are 12"d and there's more latitude choosing the height and width.

The cabinets I need are no more then 12" tall and come as a double with two doors. HD had them listed for $57 each for the unfinished ones which is what I want because I will paint them grey like the shelf and counter.
Not even thinking about it all I had to do is measure my own kitchen cabinets over the sink, microwave and the frig. Never gave it a thought. Putting too many hours in the cold shop I guess and not enough sleep at night. I try to take the mornings off to let the sun come out and warm things up.

Yep, you've been a busy bee with lots of irons in the fire!

12" tall and come as a double with two doors.

Those are the ones in the product link #2 that I sent.

Double doors, 12' h and 30" or 36" w. They also list 15" h and 18"h if you want to mix and match.
