Still too far apart... I was looking for some on a single 2x6 at about 1.5" apart. Blue crabs are plentiful in the area. My favorite are softshell.

Those clamps are Hargrave 640 models. They're my favorite for compression when real compression is needed.
In year past, I've been known to cut the long ones down to get an easier handling clamp.
$25.00 each is a steal.
