Top Coat is Orange peel texture

Im using the Earlex 5500 with a 1.0 tip and spraying Deft Clear Wod Finish.....is sprayer set to high???:eusa_thin

Add more of whatever reducer you are using to minimize orange peel. Spray multiple light coats instead of a few heavy coats. HTH YMMV

What's the approximate viscosity of the Deft? The Earlex folks recommend certain tips depending upon the viscosity of the product being applied. 1.4-1.5 mm seems pretty standard for most of our applications. 1-1.5# cut of shellac, Waterlox Original, etc. :icon_scra

I just got the Earlex a few months ago so I'm very much on a steep learning curve.
