One of my installers built this hood in our warehouse, using only a track saw, jigsaw, router and a bench top drum sander. Took him 1 1/2 days.
He seems threatened by all the machinery in my shop, so I let him loose to do his own thing in our warehouse.
I had to paint it to match the cabinets.
Home owner insisted to tile the wall before we hang the hood, which sits on a French cleat.
Hanging the hood, there was at least a 3/4” bow in the wall, impossible to get the back flush with tile.
So he had to use scribe, asked him how he got a pin nailer in there with no space and he said, no pin nailer, it’s a secret.
