Hey Folks,

In the process of finishing a few other projects I took a break and completed a little shop project. This was a little drawer I built to store my JDS multirouter parts. Pretty interesting with the spalted maple and the angled drawer front. I used the technique that Jameel wrote about in this months Popular woodworking for the half blinds and it worked great!

Enjoy:

The DT's are a bit fat for my taste but I guess they'll do for a shop project! :wink_smil

I like the handle you chose. Did you need make drawer guides or was it OK without them?

Pete,

I ended up making hardwood runners and they work pretty good-not as smooth as ball bearing metal slides but pretty smooth.

Matt-I only took a picture of the good dovetails-you should see the other side:gar-La;

Pretty cool Mike. I've never done a tapered drawer. I use hardwood runners on a lot of my drawers, and a little paste wax makes them ride pretty smooth.
