Dennis, I don't see how this is becoming personal. It is within the posting guidelines, no one is being attacked, it is not political or religious in nature, and does not, according to the description of the off topic forum, have to be woodworking related.

It's the posters opinion, which obviously isn't shared by all, but it is not a personal attack and is not outside posting rules. Not agreeing with someone doesn't give us the right to moderate them if there is no violation of policy.
