I've been away from the site for a few weeks and just checking around I dodn't see any posts about raffle tickets for the picnic.

The short answer is yes tickets will be sold at the picnic.

IMO the banner for buying raffle tickets is somewhat vague and uninformitave, and it looks like a normal ad that my eyes have been trained to gloss over. Maybe something more straightforward like "NCWW annual picnic raffle tickets on sale now! 5$ each!" would make it more glaringly obvious for folks.
