I have a very gently used Dewalt DW 735 Planer with a Byrd Shelix helical head and a mobile base/cart that I don’t need anymore. The planer was manufactured in 2020. I bought it in 2021, used it for a few months and then put it in a storage unit as my new shop was being built. The planer has maybe 20 hours on it. I recently. Bought a 20” planer and don’t need this anymore. The Byrd head is in great condition and makes a tremendous difference in quality of the cuts this thing makes (and it’s significantly quieter than with the straight knives). If you order this machine direct from Byrd with this head installed, they charge $1595 and it doesn’t come with the mobile base (and you have to pay tax and shipping).
