I am not sure if this should go in this forum, but I thought you might find this amusing.
My small shop vacuum lost almost all of it suction last week. I was very puzzled and tried a lot of quick fixes, but had no luck. :crybaby2:
This weekend I took it apart. The motor worked great!. I check the casing and everything looked fine. Finally I looked in the hose. Nothing. Then I took the hose apart the hose at the reducer. Ta-da! Jammed in the hose was a .....white gym sock. 8-O I've heard "put a sock in it" but thats being a little too literal for me. Maybe I was making too much noise and someone tried to muffle me. :-D
Anyway everything is working again and now I know how to take apart and reassemble my dust collector.
