So, When doing really fine accurate work one often will mark with a blade (marking knife) instead of a pencil, the thinner the blade the easier to mark more accurately. I found these at Daiso. One thing I particularly like are both are made with a low 30 deg angle, nice and easy to get in tight places.

As of late, I have been using these. I get them from the Japanese Dollar store (actually 1.50) Come 2 in a package. But for .75 cents these really do work well.

And......... considering all of us are now poorer from Christmas, this might be one of those cool tools that is basically worth every penny because it is so cheap.

The Japanese Dollar Store is called Daiso. Not sure if you have them in NC, however likely Dollar tree of equal might carry them as well.

Just thought I would share my latest cheapo find.

I have used disposable scalpels for this.

Here's a cheap set of them. Other shapes and sizes are available. Very, very sharp and thin.
