That last one it chewed up is probably headed straight for the Blue BORG in Wake Forest NC, complete with a fancy stamp that suggests it is really hand selected first choice PRIME stuff. <yeah>
One of the primary industries in my neck of the woods besides tobacco farming is softwood logging. This type of machine is truly amazing to watch. A plot near my house was recently selectively cut using a mininum of manpower over a period of two weeks which would have taken months using the old technology. :wsmile:
I'd suppose that track hoe attachment costs about as much as the machine it's on. It's very efficient for 'smaller' trees. Looked like he was cutting pulpwood lengths so most of that stuff probably wound up as MDF or copy paper.
