Did any body see Nova on PBS last night? It was a very interesting program on sword making and the steel that goes into them. No wonder Japanese tools are touted as being so good.

Saw something on that a few months ago. Is that the one that the steel is only made in a small batch once a year, and all the sword craftsman only get a small portion?

I also saw one on knifes made for the sushi chefs.
