Router table foot switch

I've had this about a week now and it seems to be pretty solid. Price is right, especially with free shipping:

Coupla weels ago I was cutting a thru slot and when I reached under the table to turn off the router, something slipped and my piece went from straight to UGLY. Nowhere to mount a knee switch on this particular table.

That's a very safe and smart idea. Did you get the "deadman" or the on/off petal?

I got the deadman version because when the event in question occured, I had to yank the cord in order to stop the fun. Ohhhhh the humanity!

The "deadman" version sounds like it would be safer...I just don't like the name:lol: :lol:

I can think of a couple of places to use them.
sure would beat trying to reach for the switch.:idea:
