Router start/stop switch.

I just installed the switch finally after owning it for 5 years.

Well after 6 uses it quit working? Any suggestions?

dont know but the first thing I would do is check your ground wire.

Checked everything. Put it back together, turned it on and off 10 times and all of the sudden it worked??? And it worked for 6 more times that I needed.

I have no idea and suspect it will happen again.

I replaced the switch on my 5625 after 8 years of hard use last year or so. Being curious, I cracked it open and could not believe how under engineered it was considering the starting current drawn by a large router!

electronic contact cleaner, cycle switch bunches, try again, in the meantime go buy a new switch.

The Router's switch works perfectly...Sorry for the confusion. The start/stop accessory switch is the one that was having problems and now it works again?

So I lucked out on not having to buy anything just yet.
