Resawing Help

I'm needing the help of anyone in the Cary area.

My bandsaw has been put out of commission and I'm looking for someone who would be kind enough to resaw a piece of big leaf maple burl for me. It's currently an inch thick and I need it cut to about a half inch.

I'm off Fri, Sat and Sun if anyone near Cary would be kind enough to cut it for me.

Jim, how tall is the piece? Would a 14" BS handle it?

It's a few inches over the 14 inch mark but I can cut it smaller to fit.

I'm using it as a box lid insert, so if I can get to say, 12 X10 I'd have plenty of material to work with.
