Redwood

My niece's husband wants to make a planter with some Redwood - Does anyone know if Rick at The Wood Source has any or if anyone knows of a source in the Mooresville area

Drive to California... it's literally on the shelf in Lowe's and Home Depot instead of pine. Pretty awesome to say the least if you're a fan of redwood.

Try Queen City Lumber Co. in CLT @ 704-333-4136. They probably carry more redwood than any other dealer in the area. The independent lumber dealers around CLT divvied up the specialty woods business years ago & share wholesale privileges with each other. One stocks a lot of oak, another cedar, etc. If one dealer needs another's specialty, they wholesale it to each other. It saves inventory space.
